This is auction is for a Gecko G540 Stepper Motion Controller package featuring our new in house designed 48v 12.5a power supply.Also included is 3 of our new 600oz in 3.5a 1/4in dual shaft (6.35mm)  stepper motors. These motors are a perfect combination for the Gecko for your mill conversion/retrofit taking full advantage of the G540's 3.5a. Please understand this is the only engineered G540 motion control system online that features a 12.5a power supply as standard equipment. Compare the other units, and you will soon realize why I have trouble keeping them in stock. The typical overlooked details like including three shielded prebuilt DB9 motor cables rated to 300v, and 80c, Tripp Lite IEC power cord with Lifetime warranty, and a set of my proprietary solderless connectors for ease of motor hookup integration.This isn't a hobby to me. In this video you will see him go from design using Vectric CAD/CAM to the 6040 machine to produce a Carbon Fiber radio controlled vehicle chassis. The risk involved when using carbon as your raw material is high when prototyping if your not confident in your controllers accuracy. The sheet he has on his table is very easily in excess of $200 , so a missed step, or driver issue could be catastrophic. I designed them in house, and they provide excellent performance with the G540. Please read the entire auction carefully to see the detail this system offers compared to other vendors The system features fuse protected screw cap IEC port, and auxiliary 120v outlet to power other items requiring 120v. The power switch is illuminated to reflect "on" staus, and minature mushroom E-Stop switch is provided. The system is wired with 16AWG, and (20AWG -E-Stop Switch doesn't receive current)) and each terminal is insulated with heatshrink to provide safety. The wires are secured internally with wire ties for optimal airflow. The enclosure is a full aluminum (1.5mm in thickness) unit featuring cooling slots throughout to aid in cooling the system. The Gecko includes our Avvid Thermalloy custom heatsinks preinstalled with Arctic Silver Thermal Epoxy, and Sanyo industrial 60mm cooling fan that puts out 60 Cubic Feet perMinute @ 10,000RPM! The cooling system installed in this system allows for removal of the Gecko WITHOUT having to remove the fan or heatsinks for ease of maintenance. Unscrew 4 screws, and the Gecko is out!. The Gecko must be cooled in an enclosure to prevent overheating, and possible damage. Also included is three of our solderless motor connectors with integrated mounting brackets, and 3 10ft DB9 shielded 300v 80c temp rated motor cables. (Simply download, and install the G540 .xml file from GeckoDrive.com, attach your motors 4 wires via the color codes for the Gecko on the solderless connectors, along with your selected resistor on the white color coded terminal ports. You will be up, and running in MINUTES! If you need to change motors or use a different resistor you can do it in as fast as you can unscrew 6 screws! An IEC power cord is included as well as DB25 Parallel cable to attach the system to your computer.
